At Paramount Staffing Group we offer clients a wide range of staffing choices because we know the importance of hosting a successful event. To better assist you we have comprised a summary of  staffing options we offer our clients, and what you should expect when choosing the right staff for your next event.

Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine:  This person will be skilled in fine cuisine, and will assist the executive chef in the execution of the more intricate menu items. This person should have excellent communication skills, and be able to delegate assignments to the other staff members while working closely with the head chef. The chef de cuisine is an innate part of a kitchens overall function.

Pastry Chef: This person will be experienced, and specialize in dessert creation such as pastry’s, cakes, chocolate, confections, and more. They will be able to follow specific recipes, and also have a vast Knowledge of ingredients. This person will be able to prepare and execute unique dessert menu items, and be responsible for the overall creation of unique and innovative pastry’s and desserts that wow patrons.

Bartender:   This experienced individual will have empirical knowledge of their products, and be able to offer suggestions to undecided patrons and meal paring options. They will be able to steadily accommodate custom beverage orders, as well as the more mundane drink request.  (An experienced bar mate can tell when a patron has had enough,  and they will do their best to uphold the safety of all their guest).

Maître D’:  This individual will work closely with the guest, and be in charge of coordinating, and assigning tasks. They will be able to work independently, and as a team, as they will be in charge of all banquet servers. They will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to address problems quickly and effectively. A good Maître D’ will plan ahead, they will familiarize themselves with the needs of the guest beforehand, and prioritize tasks to ensure that the work load is balanced efficiently and all guest needs are meet.

Banquet Server: This person will directly assist patrons, and be responsible for the proper fulfillment of  guest request. They will be professional and experienced in providing patrons with a wonderful experience through great customer attentiveness and service. A good banquet server will be familiar with all food and beverage products, and they will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure all prepared items are executed according to customer request.

Dishwasher/Team Assistant: This person will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all tableware and kitchen equipment. This person will usually be the last one to leave as they are an intricate part of the kitchens closing procedures.
